By author  陳耀昌 's consent, I made my first attempt of translating one of Formosa DNA articles based on the book  島嶼DNA (2015).  Chen hopes to raise awareness -  to English reading audiences -  of Taiwan's rare mixed ethnicity and provides a long overdue justification of our long overlooked Island History. Yao - Chang Chen , MD  is Taiwan's leading cellular expert and hematologist. Also author of several best-seller historical novels. One of them 傀儡花. Which is now adapted into and under production of a TV dram a " Lady the Butterfly" .  The book is translated and published in Japanese and successfully launched in October 2019.
